Home: North West London
Personal Stats: Star Stylist
Income Goals: I wanted to replace my salary from my long-term career in media and have the flexibility to work around my young children’s schedules. Six months into my new role as a Stylist, my income has exceeded that of my last position and my long-term prospects have never looked better.
My Why: Being able to afford to send my kids to a fabulous school and be there every day when they return home means the world to me. Whilst benefiting my family’s financial position I have been able to improve the quality of our lives as well as helping other women succeed in theirs.
Work Week Hours: 40+ hours a week (flexibly around family life)
How Stella & Dot has impacted your life: I wake up and genuinely can’t wait to get to work each morning. My income helps improve the quality of my family’s life, I have a guilt–free clothes fund and most importantly I am doing a job I love – on my terms!
My Stella & Dot ambition: I want to continue to grow my team, increase my earnings and book some fabulous holidays for my family!
Home: Timperley, Cheshire
About me: Mum of two, Henry (age 11) and Grace aged 8. Previously Director of Top 3 Sales Promotion Agency in UK working with major Blue Chip clients and where I met my husband!
Personal Stats: Star Stylist
Income Goals: To pay for School Fees
My Why: Two years ago we made the decision to send our sons to a private school were he could benefit from smaller class sizes and special learning support for his Dyslexia. When Grace showed symptoms last year of having Dyslexia too it became non-negotiable for us not to be able to provide her with the same opportunities. However it would be a real stretch to pay for two lots of fees from one income so I needed to look at how I could contribute to the household fund and still be able to pick up the kids and support them. I launched my Stella & Dot career in January 2012, promoted to Senior Stylist at the end of Jan, and to Star in February, and am so proud to say that I just wrote out the cheque for Graces Summer Term School Fees courtesy of Stella & Dot!
Work Week Hours: 25-30
How Stella & Dot has impacted your life: S&D has truly given me my mojo back – I am passionate about the products –selling such gorgeous jewellery is a breeze! I love that I can work my Stella & Dot career around the kids, school holidays and other social events that I want to do! The company support and network that you become a part of is incredibly supportive and the ‘pay it forward’ mentality creates this tribe of women who go the extra mile as a matter of course. It’s a business I want to be a part of, that I am proud to be a part of and one that I want to share with as many people as possible!
